Celebrate the National Year of Reading with Bing!

Does your Bingster have a favourite book or story

Join Bing and his friends as they Go All In for the National Year of Reading, to see how many books they can read in a year! Stories are so important for little ones to grow their imagination, vocabulary and communication skills. Ultimately, stories help build happy, healthy minds.

Bing has created an incredible year-long campaign that little ones and their families can dive into and expand their reading skills and material. With music and nursery rhymes, activity sheets, Bing episodes, Audiostories and more, there’s so much for Bingsters to get involved with to help foster a love and passion for reading.

Reading in early childhood is a core driver of language acquisition, which is, in turn a vital contributor to healthy cognitive development. Early literacy builds vocabulary, strengthens emotional understanding, and also establishes nourishing routines which connect children with the adults in their lives. When reading feels enjoyable, it makes an incredible contribution to early development, and becomes something children want to return to again and again.

Bing is so proud to be a part of The Department for Education and National Literacy Trust’s initiative for the National Year of Reading 2026!
